This really lovely apartment, suitable for up to 6 people, is furnished with very good taste in the sign of refinement and elegance. Suitable for those who want to spend a holiday in a comfortable place, it will remain in the memories for long time. The property is located in a historic building in Rome, in via Merulana, a prestigious area, easy sorting for easy access to all the attractions that are worth a visit. In fact, just a few steps away is the metro Line A, the taxi station and public bus. Right from the hall of the palace you have the feeling of entering into something special and significant. Opening the front door, you are welcomed by a charming and ancient mosaic floor, flanked by two statues of marble lions to the right and to the left of the staircase that leads to the landing of the elevator.
The apartment is on the first floor. Once entered the hall you will see the marble columns of an antique decorative amphorae, the five mirrored doors with the noble crests in view, giving access respectively to the living room, the dining area, the two bedrooms, one of which has en-suite bathroom, the kitchen and a guest bathroom. In the first living area, there is a double sofa bed framed by a huge mirror, other elements complete the decoration of this ambient. In the second adjacent dining area, in addition to other furniture, there is a single sofa bed that can accommodate a seventh person. The first bedroom, which is also decorated with tone, has a double bed, a large wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and a very nice bathroom with shower. Adjacent to the dining room, there is the second bedroom with a comfortable double sofa bed with wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedsides tables and armchairs. The kitchen, with a particular green lacquer furniture, is totally equipped with cooker, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, microwave oven and washing machine. From here you have access to a small internal courtyard of the building furnished with a small table and chairs in wrought iron. A second guest bathroom with sink, toilet and bidet is available for the guests who wish to stay in the living area. The general tone of the apartment is decorated with fine furniture, paintings, lamps, columns and carpets that make the whole ambient suitable for use by those who love and surround themselves with good taste. The stay in this apartment will help to spend a memorable holiday in Rome. The property can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people (but it is suitable for 7).
Surroundings
The apartment is located in Via Merulana, an important street which links Piazza S. Giovanni (well known because of the Basilica of St. John) and Piazza S. Maria Maggiore (Basilica of S. Maria Maggiore). Just in front of the apartment there is the National Museum of Oriental Art an important museum in Rome, dedicated to the arts of the Orient, from the Middle East to Japan. Crossing street, just around the corner, you will find the famous Panella L’Arte del Pane bakery. It offers a large selection of artfully displayed baked goods, breads and desserts, from all over Italy, prepared according to local traditions. The famous Auditorium of Mecenate which is actually a nymph, rather than an auditorium is an architecture of ancient Rome located in Largo Leopardi. It can only be visited by previous reservation. The Teatro Brancaccio, in via Merulana, is a well-known theater that has hosted many important artists, such as Aldo Fabrizi, Louis Armstrong and the Beatles. It contains the main theater with 1400 seats and the Morgana theater, with only 105 seats. The theater provides a variety of shows, such as plays, musicals and music. The Imperatore Deluxe is located near the Colosseum and the Roman Forums. In fact, nearby there are two metro stops: one Manzoni and the closest one at Piazza Vittorio (Vittorio Emanuele). Several bus lines are crossing Via Merulana. The area is full of nice shops of many kinds, bars, restaurants. You can have the best ice cream in Rome at Palazzo del Freddo Giovanni Fassi, in the nearest Via Principe Eugenio.
