Prestigious and charming penthouse, designed by the architect owner, in the heart of Catania’s historical center with breathtaking views on old castle from XIII cent and volcano Etna. In the heart of old center is located this building, built on the beginning of 1900 by a catania’s family. When was built were just two levels and in the ’50 was built the 3th and 4th levels where the penthouse is now.
During the Swabbing domination, XIII century, Frederic II built the castle, later called URSINO. Before of 1669 the Castle, on south and west side, was surrounded by sea, but after the eruption on these year and the next earthquake on 1693 the city was reconstructed all around the Castle. Now this part represent the heart of the popular city full of people during the day and during the night; here is the center of night life with restaurants, pubs, disco, lounge bars. The house, with this privileged position within the tourist routes from Catania and its night life make it unique and very convenient to stay in the city. From here, with brief walks, you can visit almost all the main tourist places of the city. Recently renovated by architect owner he gave a contemporary style while preserving the details and materials, historical traditions of the place and the building. Pet not allow, no smoking (just on open air).

The house is located on the second floor of a historic building and is on two levels: the first level with a living and dining area with a relax corner, modern kitchen very comfortable (with external barbecue), a common bathroom with typical majolica of the twentieth century. The whole plan is built around a roof garden with stunning views of the Castello Ursino. At the top level there are two large bedrooms fully equipped with a total of 6 places. At the same level is also a hidden laundry area.
The house is full optional including air conditioning/heating system, wifi free, dining table with 6 chair, large sofa for 6 people, chaise longe, home theater with projector and surround, hifi system in every room, DVD and CD player, fully equipped kitchen with table for 4 people, coffe machine, tea machine, microwaves, oven, dishwasher, washer machine. A large collection of books and CD is available to guests as well as a literature of Catania and Sicily. The position is far 10 min (by car) from airport and 10 min from railway station. In 5 min from the main street (shopping). In 5 min by taxi there is a teminal bus to catch bus to Taormina (40min), Syracuse and Ortigia (30 min) and other amazing places of Sicily.
